Since
about two centuries ago, since its beginning, the scientific and
technological revolution has made it possible for a sudden general
progress of civilization. However,
the general mechanization and automation of all the activities in which
a person participates has led to a reduction in physical activity not
only at work, but also in leisure time, to a minimum.

In addition to the gradual disappearance of physical activity and stresses from the modern process of production and life in general, there are many other accompanying phenomena and features of today's way of life that can have an adverse effect on humans. The mechanization and automation of all the tasks in which a person participates not only have the briefing operations on small, faster and constantly repetitive movements, mainly with forearms, fists and fingers, which are performed more and more often sitting or standing, but already enabling the imposed rhythm of work dictate the machine, conditioned the necessary concentration and stiffness, creating a great psychological burden and rapid fatigue of the organism. The artificially created, unfavorable conditions of life and work, such as rush and crowd, noise and gall, change in the life rhythm, pollution of the living and working environment of all kinds, which are bioclimatically different from those in which man has evolved and evolved for centuries to profound changes in the nervous sphere of the organism that disturb the health and working ability of man. And outside of the workplace, in free time, especially in urban environments, man becomes less physically engaged. Traveling by car and other means of transport, passive holidays and blissful standby from newspapers and television, an abundant diet, visits to various kinds of entertainment in a multitude of people and artificial climate of indoors, enjoyment in modern technology creates a constant tendency for a man to come to a future, as a sign of success and well-being. A man becomes so lazy that he only wants to be satisfied and not entertain himself.For centuries, wanting to protect itself from excessive strain, a man moves to another extreme: the release from any physical activity to almost absolute rest, which has bad consequences for his health and general condition, working ability, and the length of his life. Insufficient physical activity leads to a weakening of the musculature, and the human body loses its form in time for its proper functioning. Disturbances in the work of the basic life organs, primarily the heart and blood vessels, which, even in small mind and body efforts, are excessively strained and rapidly exhausted, as they are not prepared for this due to frequent rest, lead to their weakening and premature failure. As a result of minimal physical strain, abundant and inadequate nutrition and excessive nervous tension, negative and unwanted phenomena occur in the mental sphere, such as stress, neurosis, alienation, and the like. All this diminishes the abilities and capabilities of people in everyday life and work, today, when there are all conditions for a person to actively dedicate himself, to his various needs and interests. Conducting free time and within it the selection of activities towards the subjective perception of spontaneity and freedom is conditioned by many other factors: the necessary reproduction of strength and abilities, as well as the creative development of personality as an expression of the cultural maturity of man.
